Ah, well, the good news is, I may have found myself a beta! The bad news is 'may' is the operative word and I don't know for sure if or within what time she is willing to do it.
So, in the meantime, I drew a sketch! The scanner hates my guts, just as it always does and it ate most of the shading right out. Also, Feyn's hair looks... different in real life, I swear. Also, he does have a left arm. If you look closely you can see his fingers on Elhanan's left.

Holiday is on me! Just back in school and I'm back to living for the breaks. One week of freedom! Yay! I know I should be getting back to writing more of Elhanan, but instead I was playing Baldur's Gate again and that thing long since tried to spawn a fic. So here it is, for what it's worth.
My party usually consists of Edwin, Anomen, Korgan, Viconia and Solaufein. My PC is male, true neutral, once a kensai, now a swashbuckler ('cause I hated to drag Imoen around just for her thieving skills). And yes, he was romancing Solaufein.
Author's Note: I've always liked Anomen. He is a fairly complex character, once you get past his facade. There is something fake about him. Also he just absolutely kicks ass. Do not worry about the appearence of my PC in this. He is the cataclyst. The story is completely about Anomen.

Author's Note: At the end of A Witch in Winter I made these really angsty remarks about not posting any of my writing ever again. I'm the reliable type, apparently. I'm having too much fun writing this and a handful of people seem to be enjoying it, so what harm is done by posting? I mean, really?
This time, I will have no deadlines. I wouldn't be able to stick to them anyway and I won't promise anything I know I can't keep. I'll post as soon as a new part is done.

Author's Ramble: Yes, original story! Don't get used to it. I'm just in that early, exciting stage of writing where I'm totally in love with it and can't keep it all for myself and babble about it to everyone I meet (inlcuding the cashier in the supermarket). Yes, it does make me look like a dimwit, but at least it will pass. In the meantime, maybe someone can put it into perspective a bit. My english seems to have gone the way of Vaughn's manhood (sorry, inside joke); I've never had to look up so many words, up to and including things like "kettle". Feel free to correct the rating, btw, it's probably the least accurate.
